CAMS Fall Members’ Workshop, October 18, 2019 |Agenda | CAMS members and invited guests only. The topic of this workshop was Harmonizing Cybersecurity and Compliance. At our summer conference, we learned that most organizations have rules and regulations that must be followed to be in compliance, and sometimes those conflict with cybersecurity needs. Being in compliance does not guarantee cybersecurity; there are many examples of organizations in compliance that have still experienced a breach. the CAMS Fall Members’ Workshop included updates on this research, a table-top discussion on compliance/cybersecurity issues, a keynote by Professor Catherine Tucker, and updates/discussions on many other projects underway at CAMS.
